Buzz is swirling over the Huntington Foundation for Excellence in Education’s (HFEE) annual Reach for the Stars Gala. Event Coordinator, Kimberley Steinberg, has been working with the board members on the extensive preparation and planning. HFEE VP of Public Relations Andrea Boccard invited local media outlets to discover some of the unique and inspired attractions guests can look forward to at this year’s marquee event. President Alice Marie Rorke plans to announce details of the Gala over the coming weeks, beginning with today’s announcement.
“Our 25th Anniversary year was the driving inspiration for the theme of this year’s Gala. We decided to incorporate the Silver Anniversary throughout our planning, and reach back 25 years to invite all past board members , volunteers and past honorees. We want it to be a most memorable event for our very deserving honorees as well as attendees! It’s going to be quite a celebration!”, Rorke explained. “Every detail is being pored over and brought to an entirely new level this year. The aesthetic, the entertainment, and the prizes are sure to excite our guests.”
While the Huntington Foundation will be releasing details in the coming weeks, one exciting detail revealed today is the headliner raffle prize—a two year lease for a 2018 Toyota RAV 4 LE, generously donated by Toyota of Huntington. Presented in silver sky metallic, the RAV 4 commemorates HFEE’s 25th silver anniversary in style.
With spectacular headliners and announcements to come, and sponsors and major donors joining the event, HFEE encourages attendees to get their tickets early so as not to miss out on any of the fun.
