Huntington Foundation For Excellence In Education (HFEE)
HFEE is a non-profit 501 (C)(3) corporation and was founded in June 1993. Our organization is a group of volunteers dedicated to improving the quality of education for our children. In this time of slashed school budgets and decreased state funding, we are seeking your support. While each year our teachers write and apply for grants to aid education and enhance their school programs with SMART Boards™, computers, projectors, and other teaching devices, for all grade levels, we still need additional help. Some of our students barely have access to computers, sometimes less than one hour a week. Please help us provide the facilities and technology other school districts have and help secure the kind of education our children need and deserve. 100% of the money raised will go back to the district. Our kids are the future… please help!
Who We Are
A volunteer group of education supporters who work with a board of directors to fund innovative and exciting educational opportunities for all children in the district. This funding affords our teachers access to educational programs that are not funded by the school budget. Often these new programs are then incorporated into the curriculum on an ongoing basis.
The Huntington Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of the Huntington Public Schools in education, the arts and athletics. From state-of-the-art technology and equipment to cutting-edge teaching techniques, the educator-generated grants we fund expand our students’ curriculum as well as their enthusiasm for learning.
